EndNote is a software program that helps you store, organize and format citations. GSU users can download a free copy here.  In this session you will learn the basics of building an EndNote library and using EndNote to create formatted bibliographies.

October 15: Zotero workshop

Time: 10-11 a.m.

This is our first online Zotero workshop, held in GSU’s vClass virtual classroom space. When you register for the workshop you’ll receive a link and instructions for attending online. The workshop takes place from 11am-12pm.

You can work around this for now by saving citations from individual item pages instead of the search results list. (In other words, clicking the yellow Zotero folder icon may not work — view a single item and click the blue book icon instead.)

Get ZoteroZotero has just released version 2.0 beta. Why is that a big deal? Because this version includes the ability to share references with other people online via the new groups feature. Get it from the Zotero home page. (And it’s never a bad idea to back up your library before installing beta versions.)

We’ll be updating the Zotero guide to explain the new features as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you’ve got questions, email Jason and we’ll figure them out together.
