EndNote Workshop 4/8/09

On April 8th the University Library is offering a free EndNote workshop.  EndNote is bibliographic software that can help you create and format citations and bibliographies for research papers.  The workshop will be held from 3:00-4:00 in the classroom on the first floor of Library North. Put the Oxford English Dictionary in your browser

The Oxford English Dictionary Online has created a handy browser button for quick word lookups.  Just add a special link to your toolbar, then highlight any word on the web and click the link to look it up in the OED. Get instructions at the OED Online site.

EndNote X2 Update

EndNote X2 users can install the update by using the EndNote menu (Help->EndNote Program Updates). From the EndNote website:  “The update is available to EndNote X2 users and includes highly requested features that allow you to work with increased flexibility.” Click here for more details.
