Disruptive Technologies or New Pedagogical Possibilities
Grainne Conole of OpenLearn presented a talk titled Technologies or New Pedagogical Possibilities at the Eduserv Foundation Symposium 2008. She focused on the “informational aspects” of Web 2.0 technologies in the classroom, particularly how they might (or might not) change pedagogical models.

Books in PZ1-PZ4 Being Reclassed
General collection books in PZ1, PZ3 and PZ4 (subclasses used by the Library of Congress prior to 1980) are being reclassified to the appropriate subclasses of literature. Scanning to a Jump Drive
With the Scanner Terminals in the Learning Commons if you plug the jump drive in before the computer boots up, you’ll have no problem with the computer “reading” the drive. The “removable” drive was right there ready to save images, scans, etc.
