Underaged Drinking Laws and Drunk Driving Deaths
This publication by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “Lives Saved in 2007 by Restraint Use and Minimum Drinking Age Laws,” indicates that the 21-year-old minimum drinking age laws have prevented an estimated 4,441 drunken driving deaths in the last 5 years alone.
Spectator Violence in Stadiums
This publication addresses specific harms that result from spectator-related conflicts occurring within an directly outside stadiums. This guide include questions that help law enforcement analyze the problem in their community. It also reviews responses to spectator violence issues and findings of evaluative research and police practice.
